Redeeming 6

Redeeming 6 by Chloe Walsh
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I finished this incredible book in Ireland, and it was such an experience to be there and read this beautifully and heartbreaking story. I teared, ugly cried, and sobbed over every single element of it from the start. I've said it before, but I'll say it again: Joey and Aoife's love is raw, genuine, and heartbreaking, but they are the definition of soulmates.

This book connects the dots from Binding and Keeping 13, revealing additional trauma and depth not previously explained in them for good reason. Understanding Joey's point of view and HIS story, as well as his experiences, hit me like a truck with a blindfold on. I just want to give him a big hug my baby he went through so much and never felt good enough for anyone or anything, it broke my heart but his redemption was everything.

Aoife, my strong, resilient, gold-hearted queen, you truly were unmatched. You never gave up on Joey and stuck by him through the good times and the bad. You were the one who knew Joey the best, and you proved that time and time again. Despite everything that you had to endure, you stayed authentically you. My heart can't handle how much I loved this book and these two together, so much so that I'm crying ugly while I write this.

I loved the character development Shannon had in the end and if I didn’t already love Gibsie as much as I do it would have made me fall in love with him then and there… ugh the boy is genuinely gold. Lizzie… something still does not sit right with me but you know what? She helped our boy Joey and for that, I am content with her at the moment. Darren I still hate probably won’t ever change, and more so in this book, but I absolutely adored Edel and John Sr. They were heaven sent xx

“I’ve spent a third of my life loving you, Aoife Molloy, and I don’t plan on stopping. I don’t deserve your forgiveness.” He replied, voice thick and gruff. “But I will earn it. Because whatever comes our way, from here on out, I’ll be right beside you. Because in this version of forever, we get the happy ending, Molloy.” ☘️
