Magnolia Parks
My rating: 4.5 of 5 stars
I’ve never been hit so hard in my feelings about a book. I think we can all agree this book was TOXIC, a British Chuck and Blair if I dare say with lots of gossip girl vibes. I’m not shy to admit that I’ve had my fair share of toxic relationships but also understand how hard it is to let go of a first love no matter what. The story of Magnolia and Beej made me feel all the emotions and I’ve never hated and loved a book so much. Even the characters were all so lovable, I adore Henry he’s just the perfect best friend when it’s between BJ and Magnolia, it was always her hands down. I LOVED that because it doesn’t matter if they are blood. I also loved Bridget she was the only one who made sense of the whole relationship and was not afraid to tell it like it was.
You already know who I don't like so we won't be talking about HER EVER or Jonah for right now at least..
I'm not sure how Jessa wrote such a beautifully toxic, painful, and devastating story. She understands how to get every single feeling out of you, and if you know me or are like me, there's nothing I enjoy more than an author who can make me feel so alive through their words. I could not stop tearing up after I finished their story, it was so painful to even end it that way but I have time to recover before I continue the series.
