I will never get over morally grey men... Alex Volkov was a perfect intro into this series.

Ava the sunshine girl and Alex the grumpy billionaire, who is very smart and is the definition of touch her and you'll die. the lengths this man went for Ava? my god, can we just talk about it because he really made me believe that if anything or anyone hurt Ava, he would burn the world for her and that just makes me love the guy more.

Alex did very much get under my skin sometimes, when he did not want to communicate his feelings or thought that he didn't deserve to be happy... It was a hot mess. I REALLY wish Alex had stepped up sooner rather than later, Ava knew the real him and tore down those barriers he had up for so long that she was able to bring out a side of him he thought didn't exist anymore.

His redemption is what saved me, CRAZY to think this man spent a year in London just to keep Ava safe with nothing in return and just wow... I couldn't even be mad anymore because he showed up every day.

This was my first book by Ana Huang, and I just have to say I love her writing it really draws me in and makes me want to keep on reading. I will finish this series and start her other one of King of Wrath because now I cannot get enough.
