I read The Housemaid back in December and I loved everything about it. The Housemaid's secret I definitely liked but I did not love it, the story was kind of weird and I'm not sure if it's because the first book had so much more depth and just insanity going on but nonetheless the sequel was still a good and quick read.

The people in this book didn't do it for me like the first one did but overall because there were some plot twists that I did not see happening I definitely did like the book and that's why I'm rating it a 4 because it's one of those reads that will help you get out of a book slump and Freida's writing is always so captivating. It's a fast-paced read and you can get through them easily and I really am looking forward to the third and final book and hope it's as good as the first.

Millie is still a badass and I do love her character trying to always help these women, but I don't think this one did its justice.
