This was a dark and twisting, psychological thriller. After reading the first few chapters, I was genuinely captivated and ended up finishing the book in one day, but it took me three days to finish it. Millie is a resilient young woman, and the Winchester family's entire story is something I never would have predicted or seen coming.
I'm all about the details, so I had a few questions throughout that I hope are addressed in the second book. They were barely noticeable, nothing crazy. This novel is a head-turner overall and a little spicy—nothing extravagant, but I love that. This was my second novel by Freida, and I was not disappointed. The end surprised me, and I loved how everything was portrayed extremely well.
I can't wait to get my hands on them so I can read the entire trilogy that will shortly be released. There's nothing quite like a crazy person with a secret past who tries to get away with everything! Overall, the book was excellent; a real jaw dropper with unexpected life turning events
