OH. MY. GOD.
I LOVED THIS BOOK. I loved everything the characters, the banter, the story line and even the side characters but THE SPICE in this book is epic. The romance and the spice are open door so you get a real in depth view of everything.. and I'm living for it.
This book can be a standalone but is also part of the off-campus series by Elle Kennedy which I definitely will be reading next, this is a next generation book based on one of the couples from "The Deal" I was told and I'm super excited to dive into there story and teenagers as well. Gigi Graham and Luke Ryder wow this couple has my heart in every way and who knew I would actually be so into hockey. I do love a good sports romance even in movies, but wow the backstory of Ryder is heart wrenching but he is the bad boy you will end up loving and my girl Gigi holds her own, these two make a deal to have a win0win situation with perfecting her Hockey plays and him getting the position of coaching hockey players that her dad is offering for the summer.
This was a great first read to get into my romance genres and what a great way to end 2023 and I highly recommend it. I read this book in 3 days 500 pages, I could not put it down, I am looking forward to the next few books with the side characters from this book, once you read it you'll know exactly what Im talking about. Beckett is dangerous!! but I love him and so is Shane, Elle Kennedy executed this book perfectly.
