One By One
This was one of the first books that drew me back into reading this year. During the pandemic, I read, although not as much as I would have liked. I was struggling to balance school and social life, and I didn't have time for the simple things I enjoyed.
Ruth Ware is one of my favorite authors, and this book is the reason why. It is set in the French Alps and is based on a music app similar to Spotify. Obviously, because I love thrillers this one is set in a cabin trying to create a music app and each one ends up dying one by one. you'll have to be the judge of who's doing it and what you think might happen. When it comes to book suggestions and how highly I regard them, I never want to give too much away.
I have a book highlight on my Instagram page that lists the books I've read and my ratings; this one was undoubtedly an 11/10. I've updated my ratings to reflect the fact that this is a five-star read. If you're looking for a book that will carry you to another place and keep your interest for longer than a day, this is it—you'll enjoy it and find it to be extremely captivating 5/5.
