The Beginning

So, here it is! My first post on a blog I started. I've been thinking about it for a while, but wasn't sure what I should share or what the blog should be about. Maybe no one reads it, but it's a space for my ideas and all the creative stuff I do. Some fun facts about myself are that I am 26 years old with a BA in Psychology and a Minor in Health Sciences, I offer free advice and words of truth to anyone who may want or need it. I also enjoy singing, poetry, any type of music, FOOD, and reading books.

I was born in New York but raised in Florida until I was around six years old, afterwards which I was entirely raised in New York. I traveled back and forth for a few years, constantly seeing family, but we eventually settled in New York. I traveled a lot and never really stayed in one school; I've attended 16 different schools in my life, not including universities. I've traveled and lived in several places, but there is nothing like New York, and I'm not just saying that because I was born and reside here. 

There are several aspects of me that shape who I am as a person, you'll see how I express my feelings, or perhaps offer guidance on things I learned in life. Some things I may have learned a bit too late and wished I had known a lot sooner. This will be a combination of everything, and you'll be able to take part in the muses of my heart that inspire me.

I hope that this blog serves as a safe haven for those who find their way here, whether by accident or something led you here. To offer consoling words or just a place for your thoughts and make you want to reach out to me either to vent or just simply say whatever you feel, I want you to feel seen and heard. I'm hoping that, while this may be an assortment of things for a lot of reasons, it will inevitably be a way for me to escape from the actual world... for things I need to get off my chest or share with others. So let us go on this journey together and have fun along the way.
